How many of you were fans of the first Love Actually film? I definitely was. And I have great news for you. The cast of the beloved 2003 rom-com reunited for a special short film in honor of Red Nose Day, called Red Nose Actually.
And NBC just released this trailer in anticipation of the reunion film. Have you ever wondered who aged the best? Well, now you can make that call! Look for Hugh Grant, Martine McCutcheon, Keira Knightley, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Andrew Lincoln, Colin Firth, Lucia Moniz, Liam Neeson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson, Bill Nighy, Marcus Brigstocke and Rowan Atkinson to reprise their roles from the original film.
Sadly, because of the passing of Alan Rickman last year, director Richard Curtis didn’t feel it was appropriate to include Emma Thompson, who played Rickman’s wife. And she agreed, saying,”“Richard wrote to me and said, ‘Darling, we can’t write anything for you because of Alan’, and I said, ‘No, of course, it would be sad, too sad.’”
Red Nose Day will air on May 25th on NBC and on March 24’s Red Nose Day in the U.K. on BBC1.
