The closing night of the 2011 LA Film Fest featured a screening of Katie Holmes‘ new movie, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, a thriller produced and written by Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth).

I caught up with Katie on the red carpet where she let me in on her summer closet staples, what we can expect from her next Holmes & Yang collection, and her biggest fashion faux pas. And no, Tom Cruise wasn’t there, but she did mention she thought he looked great in the Rock of Ages stills that were recently released. And, her Contrarian New York backless navy dress and nude Lanvin heels were to die for!
