Today marks a special day for all Americans and especially those who serve and have served in the armed forces. Without the veterans’ dedication and service to our country, we would not be able to enjoy the freedom and liberty that comes with being an American. It is easy to take these privileges for granted in everyday life, but it is nice that we are reminded on this day of the sacrifices-and sometimes the ultimate sacrifice- that these loyal and brave men and women make so that our lives are better. And for people that they don’t even know, often just for the love of out country and what it stands for. So reach out to those you know who have served or currently serve and honor them. Today is their day. Happy Veterans Day!
