I have had a long-standing love affair with Guns N’ Roses, and still do. Ever since I heard the opening guitar riff of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” for the first time. Then the “Patience” video. Stephanie Seymour’s wedding dress in the “November Rain” video. Slash’s top hat and Axl’s bandanna. What’s not to love? I even got up on stage at my OWN wedding reception and sang “Sweet Child O Mine” on stage with my bridesmaids! That was definitely a sight to see!

So, of course, I wasn’t going to pass up a chance to see GnR when they came to town last night at the Forum. It was a blast. And they rocked the house until 2 AM! Sure, I missed seeing Slash, Duff, Izzy, and Steven in the line-up, but the new players definitely exceeded my expectations. And the rumor mill is already churning with talk that some/all of the original line-up may come together and perform when Guns is inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame in April. It would be the first time in over two decades that they would all be onstage together, if it happens. Can you say amazing!? Booking my ticket to Ohio ASAP!
