With a smoky, earth toned eye and a nude lip, Lucy Hale looked fantastic at last night’s Teen Choice Awards in a red Dior dress, complimented with black and gold accessories. Kelsey Deenihan, Hale’s makeup artist, said, “I knew Lucy’s eyes were going to be the main focus. We chatted about it beforehand and planned to really doll up her eyes since her hair was going to be pulled off her face.”

For Hale, she then applies a layer of the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation ($62; giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com), highlighting and contouring with Avon mark. For the main focus, Hale’s eyes, Deenihan first applies the Please Hold Eye Primer, following up with the All Time Hook Up Shadow in Tender Love ($9 and $10; meetmark.com). Complimenting the Dior dress perfectly, Hale’s makeup artist then used the Avon mark. On the Dot Neutral Eye compact ($16; meetmark.com), focusing on red and brown shades. For the perfect shape, Deenihan said, “I wiped the color all over the lid, and extended it outward to elongate Lucy’s eyes.” She also added, “On the top lash line, I added a slight wing to the outer corner to continue with the elongated smoky shape.”
For the final touches, Deenihan uses No Place to Run eyeliner in Jet Set and Lash Act mascara ($10 and $12; meetmark.com). With bold eyes and a vibrant dress, the lips were kept simple and subtle with Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Bare Hug ($11; meetmark.com).
