Kicking off the Spring/Summer 2012 STYLE360 fashion season will be the First Annual “SPORTS & STYLE” fashion event, which fuses a hosted gala by some of today’s biggest sports stars with an integrated fashion presentation and a special tribute to 9/11 on this tenth year memorial. This inaugural event will be hosted by sports titans including NBA All-Star Dwight Howard, and world top ten-ranked women’s tennis player, Victoria Azarenka. Bringing the style to this SPORTS & STYLE event will be a creatively themed fashion presentation by designer, Stacy Igel for her brand, BOY MEETS GIRL.
Next on the STYLE360 fashion schedule will be runway shows starting on September 12th at the Metropolitan Pavilion South Hall. Marithè + François Girbaud will kick-start these runway shows with
the highly anticipated return of their Men’s S/S 2012 denim collection featuring laser and ozone technology. The fashion show will include a special performance by music group, Carousel, as well as a runway appearance by NBA All-Star, Dwight Howard, and collaboration with Sennheiser headphones. Showing for the fourth consecutive season in New York will be global fashion power house bebe, unveiling it’s Spring 2012 bebe BLACK collection designed by founder Manny Mashouf and legendary stylist and Oscar-nominated costume designer, Arianne Phillips. Music for the show will be provided by famed DJ trio The MISSHAPES with International Super Model and current face of bebe, Cintia Decker,
walking the runway. STYLE360 will also be welcoming back Abbey Dawn by Avril Lavigne. Showcasing her Abbey Dawn Spring 2012 Collection, Lavigne will hit New York City from her worldwide tour to make the show. Designer Sammy B has joined the STYLE360 roster and will be unveiling her edgy line, Samantha Black. The show will feature a set by celebrity Solange Knowles, as well as Victoria Azarenka, who will be walking in the show in a piece inspired by Zoom! Teeth Whitening.
The daisy fuentes® fashion show kicks off the final day on September 13th. This lifestyle brand, exclusively at Kohl’s, features on-trend, ready-to-wear pieces and accessories including jewelry, sunglasses and handbags. Closing the September 2011 fashion schedule, twin celebrity designers To-Tam and To-Nya of SACHIKA will present a Mermaid Paradise Finale Runway Show. As a part of the ‘Dance with the Ocean’ theme, the brand will unveil special dresses inspired by various Stoli vodka flavors and will feature a wild opening dance from Team Ohhh Dance as well as a live performance by pop singer Wynter Gordon.
