Hypnotic. The atmosphere of The Valley of Violence premiere party during the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX on Saturday, March 12, 2016. What does a flowing open bar serving Blue Moon beer, flavorful Dobel Tequila cocktails and a killer DJ have in common? The answer: The Arts and Cinema Centre at The Summit Rooftop, where the lively premiere party took place.
To top it all off, Academy Award nominated actor, Ethan Hawke, the leading man in The Valley of Violence film, also starring John Travolta and Taissa Farmiga, showed up to the party to snap photos, have a laugh on the red carpet and mingle a bit. It seemed as though everyone from the DJ to the bartender to the partygoers were having nothing less than a great time. The party really got started, however, around 11pm, when the DJ cranked up the music and played favorite party mixes from artists such as Ludacris, Justin Bieber and the Weeknd. First the dance floor was filled with a few brave souls, vibing to the music under the neon orange and pink lights, but after a while, the floor was crowded with dancers having a good time. There’s nothing like a great premiere party to kick off this year’s SXSW Festival!
