Saturday night was a blast! Why you ask? Because I spent the evening toasting the 2 year anniversary of Carbon38, a luxury e-commerce website created by Katie Johnson and Caroline Gogolak, at the Winklevoss compound. Yes, those Winklevoss brothers who had their hand in putting together a little website called Facebook. A nearly $20 million dollar contemporary estate in the Hollywood Hills, overlooking the city. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday night.
And the featured pieces were sexy, functional and stylish, perfect to wear for a workout and then to meet a friend for a post-exercise cocktail. Think laser-cut crop tops by Under Amour, The Upside sleek black leggings and Adidas by Stella McCartney fleeces. And speaking of libations, at the party, we enjoyed fun drinks by VeeV Vodka and Pampelonne Sparkling Wine, while getting makeup touch-ups and hairstyling by GlamSquad.
Amongst the party-goers, Emmy Rossum attended with her boyfriend, Sam Esmail, who remained by her side the whole night. Also there was Kelly Rutherford, who rocked Carbon38 at the soiree while partying with her brother. She was also in town for the Golden Globes after-parties as well as to cheer on her Gossip Girl co-star, Leighton Meester’s performance at the Hotel Cafe earlier in the week.
