The Spring/Summer 2015 collection of Cynthia Rowley can easily be summed up in a few words: bold prints + pastels. Known for her creative approach for displaying collections, I wasn’t surprised when I discovered Rowley chose a presentation for this year’s line.
Models posed atop white blocks presenting a fresh and clean line full of bold prints and pops of color. The active wear inspired collection was made up of tunics, flared pants, trapeze dresses, and full on sportswear pieces.
Pastels transformed into a black and white color palette as pieces transitioned from flirty and chic to hip and fit. Models had bold, lined eyes, and sporty chic hair- a bit mess, yet full and fun.
“It’s about making fitness pretty instead of making pretty sporty,” Rowley said. The collection seemed to have something perfect for every fashionable lady, whether she’s simply stepping into the office, or starting her day on the treadmill.
The presentation was quite the popular place to be, but through the crowd, Anna Chlumsky, Whitney Port, Valorie Curry, Annabelle Fleur, and Sammi Hanratty were all spotted admiring the wonderful work of Cynthia Rowley.
What is your favorite piece from the line?
