CELEBRITY FASHION AND FUN AT SUNDANCE 2011

Even though were we high in the frigid mountains of Park City, Utah, celebrity fashion sizzled during the Sundance Film Festival past week. Boots, jackets, hats, jewels, and shades (some by your favorite designers) were on full display by the celebs, as if they had never left Hollywood! Many of them had fun hitting the exciting festivities and gifting suites like a mid-winter blizzard!

My Idiot Brother co-stars Paul Rudd and Rashida Jones took a break from promoting their film to stock up on shades at the SolsticeSunglasses.com Lounge. The two were trying on CARRERA Sunglasses and asking each other for style advice. Rashida immediately told onlookers that her mom wore Carrera Sunglasses back in the 80’s and recalled that they would always find them lying around the house. Also there, Eliza Dushku could not keep her hands of Rick Fox…  she removed his hat to make sure he wasn’t too warm, looking after his every need. She didn’t leave his side, asking for Rick’s opinion when trying on a pair of CARRERA shades. She made sure he also received sunglasses and was super excited when he found a pair that fit. And, Susan Sarandon might be at Sundance, but her mind was on her daughter Eva Amurri’s upcoming wedding to ESPN commentator Kyle Martino. While trying on CARRERA Sunglasses, she was asked about a set wedding date, and replied with a smile that one had definitely been confirmed.

Emma Roberts was all smiles as she attended the after-party for her new film Homework. She proclaimed, “I’m so happy,” as she walked into CARRERA Escape to celebrate that the movie was sold for $2 million to FOX Searchlight. She danced with cast members, and was in a playful mode, hanging out with co-stars Freddie Highmore and Sam Bobards. At the end of the night, she picked out sunglasses for herself and a friend, choosing a pink and white pair. She kept them on throughout the night and joked, “I’m a Barbie.”

Meanwhile, lia sophia bling was dripping off of everyone the past few days at Sundance when hot A-listers such as Kerry Washington wore the new tier ring from the lia sophia “industrielle” red carpet collection at The Details premiere, cast dinner and after-party.  Stars like Rachel Leigh Cook just couldn’t get enough of this glammed up look during her Sundance trip. She was spotted wearing lia sophia at the Little Birds after party at Tao Nightclub. She still couldn’t pull herself away from the bling as she kept on the lia sophia jewels posing for portraits for her movie Vampire.

Haley Bennett took a stroll around Park City showing off her brand new lia sophia ring that she picked up at the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift. New dad Mario Lopez showed love to his girlfriend, Courtney Mazza, as she dazzled in lia sophia bling while at the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift. Also, Lake Bell (What Happens in Vegas) flashed her new lia sophia bling at the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lift. TV personality Ross Matthews was extremely happy-so much so that he flashed a huge smile along with his lia sophia bling.

Sorels seemed to be the cold weather footwear of Sundance. In fact, Elle Creative Director Joe Zee tweeted, “Sorels are the new Uggs. #Sundance.” Sorel has definitely been all over Park City this week – and seen in Aspen in December on Kate Hudson and Elle Macpherson. And who was wearing them at Sundance?

Demi Moore sported a pair of Cate the Greats, socialite Tinsley Mortimer trekked through the snow in the Tivolis, and Maria Menounos braved the weather in her very own Joan of Arctics.

Then, over at the House of Hype’s Livestyle Lounge, actor Terrence Howard arrived with his wife Michelle who picked up a pair of AMI Clubwear heels. When deciding between the 2 pairs, she asked him which pair was better for her to which he flirtatiously responded, “there’s certainly something for me” about the sky-high boots. And guess who else loved them? Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong, who was shocked by the really affordable price. She was also a fan of Paul Frank. Newly sealed business partners Floyd Mayweather Jr. and 50 Cent picked up EQ bracelets, which are designed with negative ion technology to help elite athletes like Floyd perform better. Also a fan of EQ-former NBA star John Salley, who went from a skeptic to a believer once he witnessed the demo. Bachelor Pad runner-ups Tenley Molzahn and Kiptyn Locke loved Paul Frank accessories, and picked up a pair of the goggles for when they hit the slopes.

The cast of MTV’s The Buried Life flipped out over the MTV sweatshirt from HoodieBuddie with HB3 technology, and immediately wore them around the suite and left with the hoodies on. The ringleader of the group Ben Nemtin took a couple extra hoodies with him as he wanted to give one to his girlfriend, The City starlet Whitney Port.

Hydration is just as important as looking good at Sundance, so it was no surprise when Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof sipped at Light Green PEACE TEA while checking out a performance at the Fender Music Lodge. Adrienne said (with a smile), “I love drinking healthy tea, it helps me stay young and keep my figure.” And before Chelsea Handler had her reported make-out session with hotelier Andre Balazs at Tao, she checked out her rumored boyfriend, 50 Cent’s surprise performance-which was supported by Java Monster that was flowing all night long-at the House of Hype Livestyle Lounge. And over at the House of Hype Livestyle Supper Club, a number of celebrity guests enjoyed Stella Artois-the boys from OneRepublic, Aubrey O’ Day, and former Bachelorette Trista Sutter. As for vino, Johndrow Vineyards poured their tasty Reserve and Clarity varieties for the likes of Cheryl Hines, Rachel Harris, and Rosie O’ Donnell.
