After just announcing their engagement a few weeks ago, it appears that Benji, 35, and Cameron Diaz, 42, have tied the knot!
Speculations were in overdrive yesterday about a Diaz/Madden wedding when white party tent rentals and vans of white flowers started to arrive at Cameron’s Beverly Hills home. The intimate ceremony, which took place after sunset at 7:30 pm housed more than 90 of their closest friends and family, including among them Reese Witherspoon, Gwenyth Paltrow, Samantha Ronson, Toni Collette, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and Robin Antin. Drew Barrymore, Nicole Richie, Cameron’s sister Chimene, and her assistant Jesse Lutz served as the bridesmaids, while Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s son, Sparrow, assumed the role of ring bearer. Celebrity wedding planner Yifat Oren finessed an atmosphere of candles, dim lighting, and mostly white flowers. Despite the fact that Diaz had previously been a quite public critic of marriage, it appears she has come around to the idea of marital bliss. The couple told People magazine. “We couldn’t be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends.” This is the first marriage for both Diaz and Madden, and a great start to the 2015 rumor mill for the rest of the world who lives vicariously through them.
