To say this year’s postponed Oscars ceremony was different than in years past, would be an understatement. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the event was picked up and moved from its home at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood to downtown LA, specifically Union Station where guests could be accommodated safely.
And because we are coming out of this post-pandemic funk, where the fanciest articles of clothing that many of us have worn were our “dressy” sweats, it was time for glamour. And some of those on the red carpet were ready for some interesting fashion choices-including bowl haircuts, bright colors, bold cut-outs, and more. And here are my top five favorite looks from the evening.
Zendaya in Valentino Couture
Amanda Seyfried in Armani Prive
Maria Bakalova in Louis Vuitton
Halle Berry
Regina King in Louis Vuitton
