Sipping champagne, getting a blow out and chatting with a fun group of girls always makes for a good night. And that was exactly the case this evening at the Blo blow dry bar with the cast of Private Lives of Nashville Wives: Jenny Terell, Ana Fernandez and Betty Malo. After getting all beautified (I chose the Betty style-curls & volume-I am from Texas after all!), we talked all about the ladies’ new show, which premieres on TNT this Monday.

All of the ladies maintained that their show is not like other reality housewife franchises, but rather a breath of fresh air. No table-turning, hair-pulling or wine in the face. But rather, a group of six women meeting and building relationships, some stronger than others of course, with a few speed bumps along the way. Most of these women have some connection to the Nashville music industry, whether they married into it or are directly involved themselves, with the exception of Terrell who is a self-made career woman, mother and wife. And definitely the no bullshitter of the group, which gets her into trouble this season. She is good friends with Fernandez, the other outspoken one, who calls herself a “tomboy” even though she looks much more like a Barbie doll. And Malo, who is identical twins with Fernandez, is the polar opposite of her sister and tries to lay low and stay out of the spotlight. No doubt, some drama will ensue!
