Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie returned to Bosnia this week, after visiting in April, to meet with government officials about the plight of Bosnian War refugees who were looking to return to their homeland. After vising the country, Jolie revealed that come Fall, she will begin work on a new film set during the Bosnian War (1992-1995) about a couple who meet on the eve of the war and how it effects them and their relationship.
“The film is a love story, not a political statement,” said Jolie via a statement released by the United Nations High Commissioner of Refugees. She also mentioned about the casting process for the movie, “I would like to involve as many local people as possible and learn as much as I can.”
