The always gracious and eloquent Sophia Bush and I caught up recently at the Beauty CULTure opening party at the Annenberg Space for Photography.As you probably already know, her show One Tree Hill, got picked up for another season, which Sophia was quite happy about. What is the best part of this experience for her? Meeting her “Exquisite girlfriends.” Such a girl’s girl-love it!
Christmas arrived on Sunday night at The Grove for the annual Tree Lighting Spectacular presented by CITI. And everyone got into the spirit of the holiday season! The uber-festive (there was even real snow!) event was hosted by Mario Lopez and his noteworthy dimples, and included performances by the reunited Backstreet Boys, Colbie Caillet, American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips, Scotty McCreary, Rickey Minor and His Band, Far East Movement, and a duet by Michael Bolton and Grammy-nominated singer Melanie Fiona, who just came off a tour with Mary J. Blige.
Yesterday, I braved the June gloom that has fallen over the City of Angels (I know-we are spoiled!) and headed to the rooftop pool deck of the Thompson Hotel for the D’Amore Swim Fashion Show. The trendy, rock n’ roll inspired swimwear line designed by DJ Caroline D’Amore was fun and perfect for that “I am still fashionable even though I have a swimsuit on” look. Think grommet embellished one-pieces, tribal print bikinis, black lace and gold mixed together, stripes, and even checkers!
