The South of France just got a little bit more glamourous on Monday (if that is even possible) as Karl Lagerfeld debuted the Chanel 2011/12 Cruise Collection at the Hotel Du Cap in Cap D’Antibes. Inspired by the Tale of a Fairy-his short film-models strutted the runway in shades of canary yellow, lavender, and cream; jewels perfectly accessorizing the “I just hopped off my yacht” swimwear; floral embellishments; white satin; and a call back to the 1930’s.
