Animal shelters are a very stressful environment for dogs and cats. There is lots of loud noises, fear and loneliness that the animals experience on a constant basis. But one boy in Southern California is determined to make the animal shelter a little brighter for the residents.
Animal lovers, rescue groups, and adopters are upset and charging that NYC animal shelters are euthanizing pets that had homes waiting for them.
‘Tis the time of the year for spring cleaning. And before you toss out those old towels, blankets, bedding, plastic bags, and office supplies, think about donating them to your local animal shelter. They are often in need of these basic supplies to help the animals. And these items just need to be clean, not necessarily brand new.
A Kansas City man was so moved by one local dog named Queen who has been at the animal shelter for over 400 days, that he decided to do something about it.
