Last night was a night to celebrate the work of amfAR and all of the work the foundation has done to fight HIV/AIDS. Stars including Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and honoree Tom Ford were all on hand at Milk Studios to shine a light on the cause and of course make bold fashion statements. Miley, Rihanna and Gwyneth Paltrow all rocked Ford’s designs which were extremely sexy and provocative.
Highlights of the evening included a bidding war between Cyrus and Ford over a photograph of a nude woman by Ryan McGinley. The winning bid? $300,000 by the singer. Which prompted Paltrow to joke, “Miley has so much more money than I do! WTF?” She also introduced her “consciously uncoupled” hubby, Chris Martin, as “father of the year.” And Timberlake started off the auction with an $80,000 bid on a Damien Hirst painting.
Afterwards, the celebs headed over to STK for a packed after party, where guests sipped Belvedere cocktails and dined on Wagyu beef sliders and truffle fries. They were so good! Michelle Rodriguez and Million Dollar Listing NYC’s Fredrik Eklund mingled with guests, while host Kelly Osbourne welcomed the crowd to a standing ovation.
