In what is thought to be the largest raid across the U.S., approximately 450 dogs were seized from dog fighting operations just this past week. The ASPCA and The Humane Society of the United States along with other agencies, came together to execute this amazing action. Dog fighting is illegal and is considered a felony in all 50 states, but sadly, it still continues. Many of the dogs have been moved to emergency shelters where they will be evaluated to see the extent of their physical and emotional damage.
