To say that I was inspired last night at the Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, sponsored by Max Mara, Swarovski and Kodak, would be an under-statement.

Imagine being surrounded in a room with amazing women like Diahann Carroll, Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Marcia Gay Harden, Christina Applegate, and Nia Vardalos all sharing their stories of empowerment. Pretty cool.
Not only did I chat with many of these lovely ladies about who inspired them along the way, but we also talked summer fashion and beauty because that is what girls do!
