The last 24 hours have been somewhat bittersweet. While elated to launch the new www.RedCarpetRoxy.com, I am also feeling morose about losing 2 icons in the entertainment industry-eternal beauty Farrah Fawcett first, then only a few hours later the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. As we had prepared ourselves for the expected passing of “Charlie’s Angel” Fawcett after a valiant battle with cancer, Jackson’s unexpected death at the age of 50 came as a complete surprise to most of us, even with the problems that plagued him. Preliminary autopsy results for Michael are expected this afternoon, while toxicology reports could take anywhere from 6-8 weeks to come back. Both were legends in their own right and will no doubt leave a big hole in worldwide pop culture. A surreal day that will not be forgotten.
