RIHANNA’S LATEST FASHION ENDEAVOR

Yet another step in Ri Ri’s quest for world domination. Yesterday, Rihanna took to the air to fly all the way to Puma headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany to sign her contract as the brand’s new global ambassador. She joins the ranks of Usain Bolt and Sergio Aguero as the new spokesperson. And, being Rihanna, she has some plans of her own. She’s tasked as the new Creative Director for Puma’s Women’s Training Category, where she’ll develop existing clothing and shoes styles in addition to adding her own new designs to the brand’s women’s lines. These styles all share “the goal of strengthening women and training sessions and beyond, and inspiring confidence in their bodies and themselves.” (Apparently, anything but wedges is the only rule). According to the brand’s CEO, Rihanna’s individuality and charisma made her the obvious choice. Something tells me Usain Bolt won’t be too disappointed—the athlete confessed his crush for the songstress last year, and who can blame him.

Rihanna can now add Puma to her ever-growing list of fashion endeavors, including other brands such as River Island, MAC, Giorgio Armani, Balmain, and Gucci. Maybe we all can’t look like Rihanna, but now we can at least look like she styled us.
