I can’t believe Coachella weekend 1 is over! And I still feel like I am recovering from it! I had so much fun checking out the bands, including The Lumineers, Vampire Weekend, New Order, Social Distortion and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. And of course, party hopping!
I kicked off the weekend at the Hard Rock Music Lounge at the Hard Rock Hotel. There, I got my hippie Coachella girl spirit on with a flower halo in my hair from That Madonna Girl and braids (as did Stassi Schroeder from Vanderpump Rules), a Wren & Glory hand bracelet, and super cute ombre flowy top by Urmoda. And Jabra provided amazing sound with really cool headphones and portable speakers, which is essential when at a music festival!
Soon after I arrived, Rumer & Tallulah Willis arrived at the pool party with a boisterous group of friends, Ryan Kwaten and Jessica Lowndes posed for pictures, and Josh Henderson came soon after with a buddy in tow. And I got my drink on with yummy Corzo Tequila margaritas, while always keeping a watermelon Hint Water by my side to keep refreshed. Desert drinking is a skill! That night, it was all about the Henessey V.S. Details @Midnight Party.
The next day brought about the Bagatelle Beach Mirage party at a private residence in La Quinta. This amazing estate was surrounded by a moat, and the party even had a zip line! The handsome Eric Balfour stopped by and we were all in a pic with the infamous Travelocity Roaming Gnome, who was all over Coachella! In fact, he even zip lined for the cameras!
After that, it was time for New Order, which was a really tough call since they were at the same time as Phoenix, but my 15 year old self won! And I am so glad I saw them. Who doesn’t love a little live “Ceremony?” I ran into True Blood hottie, Alexander Skarsgard, who was rocking out to N.O. I love a man with excellent taste in music. And sadly, he didn’t vampire bite me!
Coachella madness wound down on Sunday with a lovely lakeside Nylon Magazine + Hugo Boss Pool Party, where celeb DJ Josh Madden hung with friends. And I got ready (remember this was day 3!) to send off this festival in style, meaning many cocktails. I then headed to the fairgrounds to see Social Distortion rock the crowd with their Cali punk hits like “I Was Wrong”, which was amaze!
Then, The Lumineers and Vampire Weekend, both of which I really ended up loving live. Followed by the headliners, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and you know how great they are with an audience.
But Stacy Keibler, decked in a dark hat and sunglasses, had the right idea-getting as close to the stage as she could during the RHCP. Do you think she crowd surfed?
