Elton John threw a star-studded bash this weekend to commemorate his 70th birthday, as well as his 50 years in the music business, writing alongside Bernie Taupin. Now those are reasons to celebrate! And some of Hollywood’s finest were in attendance to party down, including Tom Ford, Lady Gaga, Rob Lowe, Katy Perry, Heidi Klum, Neil Patrick Harris, and a rare public appearance by Joni Mitchell.
Held at the Hammer Museum in LA, the night featured multiple highlights, including a Happy Birthday serenade by Gaga and Stevie Wonder and a video tribute.
Elton and his hubby, David Furnish, arrived to the carpet wearing complementing brocade jackets before they hit the soiree. Earlier in the day, the couple marked the day with their sons Zachary (6) and Elijah (4), by reading a birthday card and having a chocolate bday cake.
