The custom W cake photo: hotel chatter
Happy Birthday W Los Angeles! After 10 years, the luxury hotel is still going strong, and last night many past, present, and future patrons gathered at a American Cancer Society sponsored soiree around the pool in the courtyard, otherwise known as the newly renovated Escape Lounge, enjoying paella, a custom W birthday cake, and TyKu sake cocktails while homespun tunes were provided by DJ Pesce which had the Hollywood crowd grooving amongst bubbles from a bubble machine. I chatted with one of my faves-Brothers & Sisters star Gilles Marini about the Sex and the City 2 premiere in NYC on Monday and who he thought looked the hottest on the Red Carpet:

It’s always great girl talk with Hustle & Flow actress Taryn Manning whose pilot, Hawaii Five-O also starring Scott Caan, just got picked up by CBS for the Fall. This means she was be making the big move to Hawaii, but still wants to continue her successful DJing career.
