The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have just touched down in Los Angeles! And Kate looks smashing! She disembarked the Canadian Airlines jet wearing a gorgeous lavender sheath Peridot dress by Roksanda Illinic, complemented by beige pumps. Like a modern day Audrey Hepburn.

The royal couple is now on their way to the Beverly Hilton for an event, then off to Hancock Park for a reception at the British Consulate General’s residence (also where they are staying) for a reception in their honor tonight. The soiree will be attended by British dignitaries, city and state officials, and of course, Hollywood celebrities.
Their jam packed 2 day So Cal schedule includes a trip to the polo fields in Santa Barbara tomorrow. Prince William will play in the polo tournement and Kate will award the trophy to the winning team (hopefully his!) Then back to LA tomorrow evening for a BAFTA shindig. On Sunday, they will visit LA’s Skid Row and visit with inner city children, attend a party at the Sony Studios, and then back across the pond. Welcome to Cali!
