THE FRAY HOLD A PRIVATE CONCERT AT THE SAYERS CLUB

I love going to private concerts. They are usually quiet intimate, the band seems more relaxed, which makes the vibe more casual, but still lots of fun. And that was exactly the mood on Friday night at a private The Fray concert at the Sayers Club in Hollywood.

First of all, just finding the Sayers Club proved to be quite interesting. It is a very small lounge housed behind a fast food storefront. You have to go through the backdoor of the restaurant to get to the Club. But once we were in, it was lots of fun! We sat only a few feet from the band as they played hits like “You Found Me” and “How To Save A Life” (the theme song from Grey’s Anatomy, as well as some new songs, which were really good. Being that this was the first time I have seen The Fray live, I have to say, that I was really impressed. Their live sound was very powerful and the lead singer, Isaac Slade, kept the audience abreast of the World Series score throughout the performance, which the audience loved. I would definitely see them again!
