Quintessential California girl and former The Hills star, Kristin Cavallari, is one busy lady! I caught up with the multitasking mom at the launch of her Kristin Cavallari by Glamboutique jewelry line in which she collaborated with famed accessories designer Pascal Mouawad. In part one of my two part interview, we talk about her family life out of the spotlight with fiance, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and son Camden, in Chi-town.
RCR: I am sure you are so busy right now being a mom. How has it been?
KC: Its amazing. Its so much fun! Camden is almost six months old, and he is always smiling and laughing. He is such a sweet, happy baby.
RCR: Is it everything you thought it would be?
KC: And more. It really is the most amazing, rewarding job in the world.
RCR: How has your style changed since becoming a Mom?
KC: I am wearing a lot more flats just because they are more comfortable. But also being in Chicago I dress down more because there is no paparazzi, which is great. And I am dressing more for function rather than style, like wearing more layers in the winter.
RCR: Do you love living outside of LA?
KC: I do. It’s really nice. But then I love coming back to LA because I can have fun and dress up a bit and I actually enjoy it rather than having it be a burden.
RCR: Did you bring the baby with you?
KC: Not this trip.
RCR: Is that hard?
KC: Yes. I miss him so much! But Jay is watching him and doing a great job. They are having their boy-bonding time!
RCR: Did they have boys day on Super Bowl Sunday?
KC: We had people over. So Cam was up for a little bit. And then he goes to sleep every night between 6-7pm.
RCR: So, a set schedule for him?
KC: Yes! He is usually up at 5:45 AM and then he stays in his crib until 6:30 AM. They say that is what you are supposed to do and then will eventually sleep in. I hope!
Come back tomorrow for part two of our chat in which we talk about how she got back into amazing shape after her baby, and her newest venture with Pascal Mouawad! Click here to join Red Carpet Roxy on Twitter and here for the RCR Facebook page.
