The first fashion show at STYLE360 Spring/Summer 2012 was none other Marithe and Francois Girbaud. They are back-in the states, that is! After a ten years absence in America, Girbaud has returned with a strong, denim-based collection. NBA All-Star player Dwight Howard walked in the show, and singer Erika Jayne stopped by to check out the jeans.

Next up, bebeBLACK. Don’t let the name fool you. The Spring 2012 collection was all white! This made for a very dramatic presentation on the runway. Real Housewives of New York stars Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen were very excited to see the clothes, as was Sammi from Jersey Shore. She told me that she absolutely loves bebe and can’t wait to see what each season’s collection brings.

Also, Dallas Mavericks player Shawn Marion sat front row and center for the show. Why? He revealed to me, “I like seeing women in bebe clothes because they are sexy!”

The Misshapes provided the jams for the show, and drew their inspiration from the romantic, early 20th century feel of the garments.

And then the paparazzi madhouse arrived, along with the Kardashains, to the Abbey Dawn by Avril Lavigne show. Kim, Kourtney, Kris H., Brody & Kendall Jenner all showed up to cheer on little sis Kylie as she made her first walk down the runway. I spoke with Kim who let me in on the fact that the sisters had a modeling prep session with Kylie, showing her how to walk and tousle her hair for the cameras. And they are pros! They were also filming the new season of the show, Kim and Kourtney Take New York.

Real Housewives of New Jersey star and table-flipper Teresa Giudice enjoyed the clothes sans Joe, and chatted up Real Housewives of Beverly Hills buddy Faye Resnick in the Stoli Lounge.

And finally, Samantha Black ended the first day of fashion shows. Bright pops of color, body conscious designs, and a funky appeal are the characteristics I would use to describe this unique collection.
