Today, the world lost a true legend-actress Elizabeth Taylor died at the age of 79. This larger than life woman put the MOVIE in movie star. Not only was she famous for her unmistakeable talent on screen (5 Academy Awards nominations & 2 Oscars), but also her real life antics off screen. Married 8 times to 7 husbands (twice to the love of her life, Richard Burton), Taylor lived her life the way she wanted to-on her terms-and was wholeheartedly unapologetic about it. Oprah called Elizabeth her most difficult interview in 25 years. If she could throw Oprah off of her game, imagine what she did to the men in her life! Here are some of my favorite pictures and quotes from this dynamic and completely unordinary broad. Your bright light, violet eyes, and sharp tongue will be missed.
