NICOLE RICHIE HOSTS THE LAUNCH OF SIMONE CAMILLE x CLAMDIGGIN HANDBAGS

Last night I attended the launch party for Simone Camille x Clamdiggin Handbags, hosted by founder (and Miley Cyrus’ stylist) Simone Harouche, Nicole Richie, Katherine Power of Who What Wear, and Kelly Sawyer at Just One Eye in Hollywood.

Just One Eye is an under-the-radar luxury shopping gem in the heart of Hollywood that carries mostly French fashion lines like Wanda Nylon, Piece D’Anarchive and Alexandre Vauthier mixed with high-end American labels like The Row and Proenza Schouler. With some Valentino thrown in for good measure!

The loft-like space (which was once both Howard Hughes’ home and office) is amazing, and filled with a mix of captivating art from artists such as Murakami and one-of-a-kind home furnishings by the likes of Anacleto Spazzapan (see below-the chairs retail for $18,000 for the pair). You probably won’t find a single retail establishment like this anywhere else. So, it was the perfect setting for Simone x Clamdiggin to debut their collaboration of unique purses and backpacks. Think uber-soft leather, fringe, Navajo prints and gorgeous hand-painted pieces. Very boho-chic meets the wild west, and very much like works of art themselves.

And many of LA’s most style-loving peeps came together last night to celebrate the collaboration. Another one of Harouche’s famous clients, Nicole Richie, hosted the fete and looked petite and pretty in pink in a fuchsia crop top and pleated skirt. Jessica Alba arrived dressed in a low-key dark blazer, jeans and black pointy-toe pumps. Both Richie and Alba enjoyed socializing with friends and posing for pictures, as Petty Cash served up delish Mai-Tai’s and ceviche appetizers to guests. Shop Simone Camille x Clamdiggin here or at Just One Eye (7000 Romaine Street) starting on November 1st.
