What an amazing time I had at the MTV VMAs with COVERGIRL! I was thrilled when I got the invite to be the beauty brand’s special guest for the show. And the day started out with GlamSquad coming over to my house to get me ready, using COVERGIRL products, which I loved. My vision came to reality!
Because I was wearing a sexy, plunging v neck dress, I really wanted to go bold and sophisticated for my makeup. Plus, I have been really inspired by French style as of late, especially Brigitte Bardot. So, I opted to go for a 1960’s beauty look with strong cat eyes, a defined red lip, and the always timeless fresh and dewy skin. My makeup artist smoked and smudged my cat eye to give it a little more dimension.
And for my hair, I again threw it back to being a Francophile. I have been obsessed with a loosely tied bow for a while now. It was the perfect opportunity to try it out with my hair half up, in soft waves (not curls). I wanted to keep my hair playful and sweet to balance out the sultriness of my makeup and dress, but still chic. It was a blast to get dolled up for this awards show, since really anything goes!
