This. So Julia Roberts stars in the Spring 2015 Givenchy ad campaign. And the photos are stunning.
The series, shot by famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, feature a more serious side of Roberts. Namely, without that gorgeous mega-watt smile that you always see her flashing. But the pictures are amazing.
Riccardo Tisci, Givenchy’s Creative Director, explained, “She’s incredible as a woman, I love her so much: She’s funny, ironic, intelligent, cultured – everything.” He continued, “I decided to make her more intellectual, more serious, more pure. It’s a different, fresh, new way to see Julia – really cool and urban, I think.”
