FAMKE JANSSEN DEBUTS BRINGING UP BOBBY IN NYC

Famke Janssen’s directorial debut, Bringing Up Bobby, premiered in New York on Monday night. The story centers on Olive (played by Milla Jovovich), a struggling Ukrainian con artist trying to care for her young son in the best way she knows how. And this first-time director looked stunning in a crimson Derek Lam jumpsuit as she mingled with guests like her Taken 2 co-star Liam Neeson, one of the film’s stars Spencer List, and Karate Kid Ralph Macchio. The after-party was held at Haven, the rooftop bar on the Sanctuary Hotel in midtown, and the balmy NYC night couldn’t have been more perfect. Guests sipped Russian Standard Vodka cocktails (the Moscow Mule was delish!) and wines by Johndrow Vineyards. And after a very well-received showing of the movie, Janssen arrived to the soiree much to the admiration of those who had seen the film. Bringing Up Bobby opens tomorrow in select theaters.
