You probably thought you had heard the last of any new music by the late Michael Jackson, who passed away in 2009 from a drug overdose. Well, that isn’t exactly the case. An album of original music, entitled Xscape, by the King of Pop will be released on May 13th and features eight new songs that we haven’t heard before.
The collection was produced by L.A. Reid and peeps like Timbaland. Epic Records is releasing it and posted on their website, “After mining the Estate of Jackson’s archives, Reid was granted unlimited access to the treasures spanning four decades of material on which Jackson had completed his vocals. Reid then teamed up with top producers to ‘contemporize’ the songs while retaining Jackson’s essence and integrity, creating the best music you’ve never heard.” You can pre-order the album starting tomorrow. Will you buy it?
