If you happen to be anywhere near Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills last night, no doubt you saw and heard the likes of hundreds of fans circling the block in the hopes that they would get a chance to meet their superheroes-Kim & Khloe Kardashian. The KK girls were at the Bev Hills bebe store to promote their bebe-Kardashian line and sign autographs & take photos with their fans. And fans they have, as I interviewed a couple from Australia who came in to meet the Kardashian ladies and told me that were “huge stars” in Oz. In fact, one fuller figured man emphatically said to me that he would gladly wear the bebe-Kardashian line because he loved the girls so much-talk about stretchy fabric!
I got the opportunity to interview the sisters and ask them what they thought of the collection, which they deem “sexy but wearable pieces.” They are already working on next season’s collection, which will be their 3rd collaboration with bebe. Kim also mentioned that working with bebe was the perfect partner because “it is young, fun, stylish, and really affordable.” As K & K were signing pictures, the girls had some funny quips with one another, like when Khloe joked, “We aren’t skinny girls.” And Kim shot back, “Speak for yourself!” Khloe did point out that she lost 28 lbs. on extreme burn. And who does Kim look to as a style symbol? She remarked, “I love Kate Moss’ style!” So do I, Kim.
