George Clooney is organizing a fundraiser for Haiti that will be telecast next Friday on MTV. Details are scant right now and the list of celebrity participants is not yet known. Wouldn’t be totally shocked if some of his buds like Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, and possibly Brad & Angelina showed up to lend their support. After all, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation has already pledged $1,000,000 to the Haitian Relief efforts. Clooney revealed his plans while at a pre-Golden Globes party in NYC honoring his film Up In The Air. He isn’t a stranger to extending support when tragedy arises-he was instrumental in putting together America: A Tribute to Heroes, a fundraiser that aired on several networks after 9/11. Go Geo!
