The nominations for the SAG Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles on January 23rd, 2010, were announced this morning. And those leading the pack are Up in the Air, Precious, and Inglourious Basterds which each scored 3 nominations followed by Nine and The Hurt Locker which pulled 2 nominations a piece. Interestingly, James Cameron’s Avatar which garnered 4 Golden Globe nominations, received a big goose egg when it came down to pulling SAG noms. The Weinstein Company should be stoked as they can claim 6 SAG nominations for their films, including Tom Ford’s A Single Man, Nine, and Inglourious Basterds. And as far as TV noms go, NBC lead the pack with 8 for shows like 30 Rock and The Office, while HBO received 7 for their popular hits like True Blood and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
