Michelle Williams recently took a trip down the aisle, and nobody found out about it, until now. The ever-so-private star of the upcoming Ridley Scott flick, All the Money in the World, wed her musician beau, Phil Elverum, in a small ceremony in the Adirondacks earlier this month.
Williams revealed to Vanity Fair, “Obviously I’ve never once in my life talked about a relationship,” she said. “But Phil isn’t anyone else. And that’s worth something. Ultimately the way he loves me is the way I want to live my life on the whole. I work to be free inside of the moment. I parent to let Matilda feel free to be herself, and I am finally loved by someone who makes me feel free.”
And this actress is not only a newlywed, but also a doting mother to her twelve year old daughter, Matilda, with the late Heath Ledger, and stepmom to Elverum’s three-year-old daughter from his previous marriage. And Ledger is not forgotten by Michelle.
“I never gave up on love. I always say to Matilda, ‘Your dad loved me before anybody thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes,’” she said. Tears.
