Last night, Amy Adams dazzled at the NYC premiere of her latest film, American Hustle. And her make-up looked flawless! Stephen Sollitto created her gorgeous look using tarte products. Said Sollitto about his inspiration, “I wanted Amy’s look to be sexy yet current, a cross between Julie Christie and Kate Moss.” And here is how you can get her look at home.
Complexion:
To prep Amy’s face, Stephen dotted tarte’s maracuja c-brighter eye treatment on her lids and underneath her eyes, then applied Chanel Sublimage cream all over her face.
With a damp sponge, Stephen applied tarte’s Amazonian clay 12-hour full coverage foundation in light.
To give her face dimension, he swept tarte’s Amazonian clay mineral powder bronzer in park ave princess over her temples, across her hairline, the tip of her nose, and under her chin.
To keep her cheeks looking fresh, he dabbed tarte’s cheek stain in tipsy, then dusted elevated blush from the be MATTEnificent Amazonian colored clay matte collector’s palette (available in January) over top.
Eyes:
To create a smoky bronze eye, Stephen smoothed the shade “sand out from the crowd” in the be MATTEnificent Amazonian colored clay matte collector’s palette (available in January) over her lids. Then he brushed “bronze horizon” from the sultry sunset Amazonian clay 8-shadow collector’s palette onto the lid, into the crease, and beneath her lower lashes.
Along the upper lashline and lower outer corners, Stephen used tarte’s skinny smolderEYES Amazonian clay waterproof eyeliner in golden tigers eye.
He finished by darkening the lashline with tarte’s “two plums up” shade from the be MATTEnificent Amazonian colored clay matte collector’s palette (available in January).
To define her lashes, he used two coats of tarte’s lights, camera, lashes™ 4-in-1 mascara.
Lips:
For a tangerine nude, Stephen blotted her lips with tarte’s new LipSurgence™ power pigment in tipsy (available in January), then layered LipSurgence™ matte lip tint in exposed over top.
