Shorts are one of my fave items of clothing to wear, and because I live in LA, I can really wear them year round. The question is how to dress them up for a night out? What I like to do is find a cool blazer, like this one from Helmut Lang, to wear with my shorts (this pair is by bebe). The blazer dresses them up, and even makes them red carpet ready. As you know, I have several staple pieces in my closet, and one of them is this white Vince blouse which I wear all of the time because it looks so great with jeans, pants, skirts, and of course, shorts! I paired the ensemble with open-toe Sole Society booties (here are some closed-toe ones since its Fall), a Foreign Exchange studded black clutch and and two gold cuffs-the one on the right by Boera and the other one by Giles & Brother. All ready for a night on the CBGB red carpet!
