I love awards season in Hollywood. It is a time for glitz and glam, and gives us a reason to get all dressed up. And since the weather was still so summer-like on Emmys Sunday, I was all about warm weather style. And really feeling watercolors. So I chose this Alice & Olivia Carli dress (the short version is on sale!), Jimmy Choo strappy pebbled sandals, a gold Celine clutch that I got in Paris a few years ago (this one is very similar), and a vintage necklace and bracelet. I wanted to wear a belt with this dress, but I couldn’t find one that I liked, so I improvised. I took a gold rag & bone D Ring belt (it’s sold out but here is a similar one by Ralph Lauren) that I picked up at Barney’s Co-Op on sale, and threaded it through a art deco-inspired Jenny Packham pendant. And voila, a custom-designed accessory! It’s all about experimenting and having fun with fashion. And topping it all off with my trusty (cruelty-free and love by both Beyonce and Jessica Alba) mink Velour Lashes in You Complete Me, I was ready for the night!
