Zimmermann is fast becoming on of my new favorite labels. The aesthetic of the clothes is feminine and very sexy. And this was Zimmermann’s debut show at New York Fashion Week, after having shown at Sydney Fashion Week before.

The inspiration for the Spring/Summer 2014 collection was the Ringmaster. And this collection was all about dramatic flair, with ruffled collars, strategically placed cutouts and sheer prints. The color palette was all about soft hues as well as black and white. Embellishments included embossed ropes, beautiful lace and woven metallic stripes.

And let’s not forget the sultry swimwear for which Zimmermann is known. This season, laser cut mesh and criss-crossed detail highlighted these pieces, making them full of sex appeal and high-style. I can definitely see them gracing the beaches of Malibu to St. Tropez.
