I had the pleasure of chatting with the down-to-earth and eternally fashionable Cate Blanchett at the premiere of her latest film, Blue Jasmine, this week in LA.

Not only did she look amazing, but she also let me in on what it was like working with Woody Allen and trying to capture the “Upper Eastside princess” side of her character, Jasmine. We also bantered about how she selects her bold choices for red carpet events, and for whom she dresses. No doubt, this role is sure to garner her an Oscar nod. Amazing performance, Cate.
