Samantha Ronson celebrated her milestone 35th birthday at New York hotspot, Stanton Social alongside resident DJ Omari Toomer. Ronson kept true to the L.E.S grit by spinning a mix of music which included rare East Coast hip-hop that could hardly keep the crowd of dining onlookers in their seats. DJ Omari Toomer, a close friend of Ronson and veteran New York City DJ, accompanied Ronson on the turntables and is slated to provide the music at Ronson’s birthday bash later next week.

Justin Bieber’s protégé and current pop music darling, Carly Rae Jepsen, was also seen dining last night at Stanton Social. Jepsen and three others were indulging in a mix of Stanton Social favorites. Jepsen and crew were light on the drinks but heavy on the food including French Onion Soup Dumplings, Lamb Souvlaki, Perogies, Red Snapper Tacos, and finished it all off with a Chocolate Tasting for dessert! Also on the menu? The always-popular Samantha Ronson. That’s right—in between filling up on Stanton Social’s signature dishes, Jepsen and her friends were grooving to a mix of 80’s and 90’s hits spun by the Lower East Side’s favorite disc jockey.
