I attended the Clinton Foundation Concert in celebration of the foundation’s tenth anniversary. And the band list read like a who’s who of the music and entertainment industry. Lady Gaga, Bono, The Edge, Usher, Kenny Chesney, and Stevie wonder all performed at this star-studded show.
Bono, George Clooney, Rob Lowe, Jessica Alba and a host of other celebs star in the Fight the Famine PSA for the ONE Campaign. It is intended to help wipe out famine in the Horn of Africa where over 30,000 children have perished in the last three months from the shortage of food.
If you haven’t had a good tear up this morning, then I have got something for you. Last week at the U2 show in Nashville, Bono chose a blind man from the audience (he was holding up a sign that said he wanted to play a song for his wife) and lead him onto the stage. So with Bono on vocals and the blind man on guitar, together they played “All I Want Is You.”
