So blue was definitely my go-to color for Oscars week. It is a tone that I absolutely love, particularly royal blue.
And that is exactly the shade I wore whilst chatting with the lovely Cate Blanchett at the Sony Pictures Classics pre-Oscars dinner at STK. A color fit for royalty. She did play Queen Elizabeth I after all!
After she sweetly rubbed my pregnant belly and inquired about my daughter-to-be, Cate was off to another bash. But before she left, I congratulated her in advance of her Academy Awards win, saying I knew she would take home the gold. Her response, “Thank you. No pressure, though!” Go, Cate!
