RICHIE SAMBORA AND HEATHER LOCKLEAR MAKE NICE AT THE WHITE TRASH BEAUTIFUL SPRING 2011 FASHION SHOW DURING LA FASHION WEEK

Fashion works in mysterious ways! Last night exes Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear not only spoke with one another, but-gasp-sat next to each other for a whole 20 minutes at Sambora’s  White Trash Beautiful Spring 2011 LA Fashion Week show. (He co-designs the line with Nikki Lund).

Granted, their daughter Ava was walking in the show, but still, after all of those bitter divorce and cat fight stories from a few years back, one couldn’t help but wonder how they could be so civil now (as many people in the audience were). That being said, it’s great to see they have seemingly moved on. And so have I-now onto the clothes.

As expected with the scope of these designers, the fashions had a very rock n’ roll edge to them (leather garments from shorts to dresses to studded belts, cropped shirts, and sexy mini dresses). There were even elements of hippie in this collection like tie-dyed fabrics, flowy maxi dresses, and cape like sheer tops that floated down the runway. Obviously, these were party clothes best suited for a night out dancing or for when you catch Bon Jovi on their current worldwide The Circle Tour.

Other celebrities turned up to support Sambora’s foray into fashion, including Charlotte Ross, Tatyana Ali, Bridget Marquardt, Desperate Housewives’ Brenda Strong, Natasha Henstridge, and former American Idol contestant Kimberly Caldwell who let me in on her style secrets, as well how she thinks Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will fare as judges on AI:
