KATHERINE HEIGL SUPPORTS REMEMBER ME THURSDAY

This Thursday, September 25th marks a very important day in the lives of homeless animals. “Remember Me Thursday” honors those orphaned pets whose lives were cut short due to shelter overcrowding, not being adopted in time or any other reason why they might have been euthanized because they weren’t able to find a home. And several celebrities including Kristin Chenowith, Diane Keaton, Ian Somerhalder and spokesperson Katherine Heigl are eager to support this worthwhile cause.

Remember Me Thursday

“Every day in America, 10,000 pets are killed for lack of a good home. It is important to not forget those animals who have been euthanized in our shelters across America and to focus on those still waiting for a home. Remember Me Thursday is our opportunity to bring to light these homeless pets and I am honored to be the spokesperson for such an important and powerful message,” stated Emmy Award-winning actress, Katherine Heigl.

And it’s very easy to be a part of this movement. All you have to do is change your social media profile picture to the Remember Me Thursday icon and spread the word through all of your social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with #LightForPets. And please remind family, friends and followers to adopt or foster animals from shelters and rescue groups. It is truly saving a life.
