Karl Lagerfeld premiered his latest Chanel Cruise collection in Cap D’Antibes on the French Riviera yesterday. In fact, it was held at Versailles amongst the lush gardens and beautiful water fountains, painting quite the picturesque scene. And the audience of admirers included the always stunning Tilda Swinton, the face of Chanel’s Boy Handbag line Alice Dellal, and Vanessa Paradis , but sans paramour Johnny Depp. Boo!

But the clothes were quite something else. A mix of 18th century structure and detail, with modern touches, and a splash of edginess, this collection had some great pieces. Would you wear them?
